Should be interesting to see what Kerins season looks like. He'll have a bigger offensive role for the Wranglers.

His lack of progression over his two full seasons in the Flames system is cause for concern, he looks a lot like a player who has already topped out.

Definitely you would like to see better offensive numbers but hard to do that while being deployed exclusively as a defensive shutdown center. A role he's played pretty well for the Wranglers. Not a ton of upside but the NHL tools to be an effective bottom 6 player are there.

Ya, I like his NHL chances alot more than Kerins.

I think if you're picking purely by floor at this point, Schwindt is probably the right choice. The problem when we get this deep into the ranking is everyone is prioritizing something different, and that's fine.

For sure. I tend to value floor and how close they are to getting even semi-regular NHL games more than most. So much can happen between draft day and a prospective NHL debut.
