Literally nobody selected after him in the polls has a good chance to play 100+ games of quality NHL hockey. Some might be dime a dozen 4th liners or 7th Dmen, but nothing really special. Buchinger at least has a skill set that if he hits he’s going to be a true impact player.
Yikes. I couldn't disagree with you more. You are wrong on Buchinger nd wrong on the some of our other kids. Guys like Burns and Ralph may fall short, but they have a chance at becoming top 4 d, much more than Buchinger who is undersized and struggles mightily in his own zone. Some of the forwards look to potentially be middle 6 forwards too. Buchinger is a poor man's Calle Rosen. He has roughly the same chance of walking on the moon as he does of becoming impact NHL player.

I think you are the one who is wrong here. Watching his games last year while he's not perfect in his own zone he's still serviceable. He would have been top 2 or 3 on his team in points if he didn't miss 15ish games in the season. Tied for team lead in points in the post season. You call him undersized and act like he's 5'9 when he's 6 ft (your favorite Burns is .01 taller than him)

You completely discredit anything he does and make claims that Q Burns had passed him on the depth chart when both players have played 3 years of juniors and Buchinger has outplayed him every year, add in that Q Burns is a penalty box magnet.
