Kansas City has a better 1-2 starter to combat Baltimore compared to Detroit.

Which KC will need if no one is going to give Witt any help.

Baltimore in 3.

The Orioles got several players back from injury in the final week (Mountcastle, Westburg, Urias, etc) and played much better baseball, looking much more like the team that was viewed as a powerhouse for most of the season.

I think they easily take care of business here in 2 games. KC's top heavy offence will be their undoing here.

Might be standard 'favorite team pessimism', but as an Os fan I think their pitching is too weak, both starting and bullpen. Voted KC in 3.

Underrated in his prime for sure by advanced metrics particularly
Guy was underrated with his bat and with the glove. He gave me fits when we first stuck him at 1st but then he grew into it and was a great glove/fielder for a long time for us.... Now we have a big hole there.

It was awesome when he won that batting title a few years ago. So many good memories from his time here.

Game was over at 1-0. Orilole hitters have been complete shit for months.

And a bad call gets the the Royals an out in the 9th.

BAL had nobody better than Efllin to start this game? This dude has been around for a decade and I've never seen him do anything good

Is Rodriguez still hurt? If so the only starters they have are Burnes and Eflin.

I kinda feel for Orioles fans as a Jays fan. We have something in common at least. 0 playoff wins in the 2020s. I feel you, bros. I will still be smiling a bit if the Os lose again today :D
Orioles have a future. Looks like the hitting coach needs to be fired into the sun though. Jays don't have any future as long as Dumbo and Dumber are in charge.
