Astros fans accuse Dusty of sabotaging our WS chances last year by not playing Diaz. He was 1-14 when he was in there and looked exactly like this. Dusty definitely made some dumb decisions but that wasn't the reason we got bounced by Texas. And I was one of them that wanted Diaz in there.

Jobe giving him the stink eye, think he felt he should have let that ball drop, also he took the wrong path anyway. You need to approach that from a different angle so your body momentum carries you towards home. That was smart to send the runner, many cases there the runner holds but seeing his body positioning it was gonna be hard to throw him out

1) Can't imagine he's thinking that because you obviously just need an out in that situation. Anyone who knows ball knows that. He's just more stunned that he scored on that play.

2) Vierling had to make the play first and foremost had to come a long way. He definitely fell asleep a little bit in not being ready to throw to home right away but he also wasn't able to camp under it and get a running start toward home.
