Look at the what Stroud is working with and look at Herbert. I'm not sure which situation is better. No excuse for Herbert to be so terrible yesterday.
Nico Collins and Joe Mixon are excellent weapons but Stroud is also a much better QB than Herbert.

I will say re: “he has no weapons”. That’s part of the deal once you sign the big second contract as a QB. I know LA is in a different phase of their team building than a true contender, but that big deal makes it tougher to surround yourself with talent. It happened in KC, Buffalo, it’s about to happen to some degree in Cincy - you have to do more with less once you start getting paid after the rookie deal. Also Harbaugh clearly values line play above all else, I’ll be interested to see how they address it.

They nailed the Ladd pick and I suspect they’re going to need to keep doing so. I have a hard time seeing that organization with Harbaugh at the helm splashing more cash for someone like Tee Higgins.

They were paying a bunch of money to guys who were always injured (Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Joey Bosa, etc.) and not getting any younger. Tearing it down was not a bad idea at all, you just can't rebuild it entirely in one off season.

His offensive line is probably bottom 8. It's terrible. Ladd McConkey is great also and the Chargers oline is miles ahead of the Texans.

Letting this Texans team - that famously cannot run it on anyone - run it down your throat to end your season is a fitting end for this Chargers group.

Huh? The Texans had more rushing yards than the Chiefs this year

He wasn’t lights out either and had looked garbage the last part of the season

The game was lost on Chargers turnovers but neither offense wanted to win this game

Saying they had more rushing yards than a Chiefs team coached by Andy Reid and relying on a very-nearly washed Kareem Hunt isn’t saying much. Houston’s rushing totals are ok on their face but they are like bottom 5-10 on EPA/play in rushing. Their weird insistence on trying it on early downs regularly put them in bad situations and is why they more or less abandoned it yesterday until the end of the game.
