People hated the Pats because they were good.

For the TE, that ball is almost a duck not a spiral. That makes it harder to track the trajectory. But to beat KC, someone needs to make a play. Be it an OL to pick up the blitz or the TE to come up with a difficult catch.

It's an admittedly fine line you need to find to beat the Chiefs. Being aggressive enough to bring the fight to them, but not being overly stupid in doing so. McDermott chose the latter.
James Cook was killing them on the ground with the added bonus of keeping Mahomes off the field. For reasons not understood, they just...stopped running it. So many asinine 4th down calls where the points would have made more sense. Just infuriating to watch as a neutral.
It's been 8 years with him as coach. You have wasted multiple fantastic performances from Allen. Fire him.

It's not a trivial catch, but he's was supposed to have some of the best hands in the draft when he came out. When you draft an offensive player that high, you expect him to make those plays, simple as that.
If he does, they have a really good chance of winning it in regulation with a TD.
