He's apparently fast, defensively responsible and throws the body.

The upside might not be there but seems like a Dewar type addition.

Sounds like a big body who might one day soak up those playoff style minutes when it's big bodies just volleying the puck back and forth, little bumper car action. We need that today, but no idea what the organizational needs will be so many years down the line.

23 goals from a 7th rounder looks a whole lot more impressive than 37 points.

One of the guys that missed his minor midget year to covid, but has been on a pretty strong track since. Took a massive step from U18 to U19, let's see if he can do it again.

It's why I hated seeing all the draft picks flipped at past trade deadlines. The draft is all about getting lottery tickets and hope you get some luck.

Watched alot of McCue locally before he was drafted to the Petes. Was teammates with Chicago 3rd rounder Alex Pharand.

Pharand was the more complete player, still is really, but McCue always had a nose for the net. Always found ways to score. Nice to see the numbers reflect that. Is a Cy Young type guy.
