Oh you only Stat watchers lol.. I love you guys

If you know, you know
Demidov has already surpassed Michkovs KHL numbers.

We don't care what he did in his vacation on loan to dead last Sochi going -6
What was he able to do on the contender KHL team Demidov is currently paying his dues on with an astounding +20
Imagine Demidov going to Sochi getting 1st line 1st PP mins with zero expectations lmao he would be well over ppg

The funniest part about all the Demifov Michkov stuff to me is they are actually good friends
This stuff is very much of a moot point because I think he would not be improving this team. We had Caufield and now Laine and Demidov have fallen on our laps, he’s superfluous. He is the BPA but fate is such that RB hitting has become so much more critical than Michkov’s redundancy.

Demidov leads the KHL in pts/60, even strength pts/60, plus minus/60 etc all of it he leads the khl.

In most of the pts/60 categories he is over a point per 60 above 2nd place.

As Montreal said, if he had been given 12-14 mins per game consistently he easily would be leading the KHL in points and already surpassed mitchkov season from last year.
To be fair more minutes usually means more defensive zone starts and so the per 60 rate usually goes down. So yeah points still go up, just not by as much as the p/60 would seem to indicate.

In Demidov's case though simply being given #1 PP time will bost his TOI without actually making his minutes tougher so he should gain a significant points boost.

Where can one find those stats? ES & PP per 60
I can't find them online so I run them on my own. As of right now, the top 10 KHL PTS/60 are:

Demidov - 3.96
Leivo - 3.50
Aramov - 3.46
Kuznetsov - 3.44
Petan - 3.44
Chekhovich - 3.28
Khairullin - 3.25
Gusev - 3.25
Kagarlitsky - 3.22
Gritsyuk - 3.21

Someone can correct me but I think the youngest after him on that list is Grits who is 23-24.

Man… If Demidov can go on and convince Nikishin to play for MTL and MTL only… Wonder what a trade with CAR would look like considering the fact that KHL players’ right can be owned undefinitely by NHL teams. Would be hard for Nikishin to pressure the canes into trading his rights

Demidov has neither played for the Habs nor visited Montreal. He has no compelling argument to convince someone to sign with the habs.

The canes expect nikishin to be in their lineup before seasons end. His current contract in the khl ends and they are very very confident he will come this season even.

As much as I would love “BOOM” in our lineup it’s a dream. Not gonna happen.

No one cares
Amazing highlights today, thank you to those who posted them. I wonder if Hughes tried to negotiate any sort of early release of Demidov?

I don't think that they would share that information but a part of me is hopeful that he comes here at some point this season. He is too good for that league, it's crazy that it's so easy for him at his age.

The KHL playoffs only end in May? It’s unlikely Nikishin becomes available to them to this year.
