Watching his highlights, you’d think he’s playing in juniors. He’s doing all this in a men’s professional league. It feels weird that we have a player like this in the system.
Yeah, I was joking, but seriously, Demidov should easily be drafted #2. Easily.
Like crushing CSKA instead of threading water against them. Might just be a coincidence. That's things happen when you decide to play Demidov in your first line !!

3.91 PTS/ 60 Mins is amazing. This is THE stat that tells us how good he plays. He's up to 3.91 PTS/ 60 Mins.
Huge numbers for a U20 player in the KHL.
Just as an example of how good that is, during Artemi Panarin's last season in the KHL (also with SKA St Petersburg), he had an amazing 4.3 PTS/ 60 Mins, but he was 23 years old.

For those who are comparing his production to the one of Michkov, this is the most accurate way to do it. Michkov was playing big minutes, no?
I am sure that Demidov is already high on that list of that russian league
Mitchkov pts/60 last season was 3.25.3.91 PTS/ 60 Mins is amazing. This is THE stat that tells us how good he plays.

Impressive !Mitchkov pts/60 last season was 3.25.
Demidov is decapitating that stat. No rookie has ever done what demidov is doing this year. Ever.

I think we need to acquire a good russian veteran player to help him next season, he has all the talent in the world but we've seen many times how difficult it can be for young player to adapt to a new environment, which can slow his progression.
Ivan Demibust.SKA now 4-0 up. Second period almost over. Demidov no involvement in the other two goals.
Demidov leads the KHL in pts/60, even strength pts/60, plus minus/60 etc all of it he leads the khl.Impressive !
I was sure he was higher than Michkov. Do you have access to the league standing list for that statistic?
Michkov had 41 Demidov is at 29, to beat him its 13 bruv.12 in 8 but basically it’s Rottenberg playing with the spigot that always decided how close or how far he is from the record. Demidov has little control. He’ll beat it if Rottenberg wants him to beat it.
I remember real time too thinking 'people are probably gonna hate that pause' lolThe slow way Celine Dion announced the pick and builds up anticipation right before she announces "Ivan Demidov" is chef's kiss.
Once again, Michkov was playing a lot more minutes and lot more PP time. It's sad, but we can't compare them using the total points of both players. Of course, Michkov will probably be the leader for the total points, but Demidov puts him in his little pocket for the points per minutes playedMichkov had 41 Demidov is at 29, to beat him its 13 bruv.
Do not underestimate habs fan. We will hear about the Michkov/Reinbacher draft for the next 15 years.I like how much the Demidov talk has slowly shifted the Michkov talk away from Reinbacher.
At least for now...
Kinda unfair to Reinbacher anyways considering he's hurt.I like how much the Demidov talk has slowly shifted the Michkov talk away from Reinbacher.

The funniest part about all the Demifov Michkov stuff to me is they are actually good friendsYou know, it’s possible to enjoy that we drafted Demidov, without referencing Michkov.
One has nothing to do with the other, it’s bad enough we refer to him every time we talk about Reinbacher, but this just screams of insecurity.
Who cares if Michkov is or isn’t better.
Where can one find those stats? ES & PP per 60Demidov leads the KHL in pts/60, even strength pts/60, plus minus/60 etc all of it he leads the khl.
In most of the pts/60 categories he is over a point per 60 above 2nd place.
As Montreal said, if he had been given 12-14 mins per game consistently he easily would be leading the KHL in points and already surpassed mitchkov season from last year.

Oh you only Stat watchers lol.. I love you guysIf I got this right he needs 13 points in 8 games to beat Michkov KHL D+1 season.
