I'm right with you there buddy....20 years and countless threads discussing prospects and being envious of other teams prospects.....It's been a long time since i've had this feeling.

I was so nervous like okay maybe it was MHL domination mirage and he isn't that good. Then he just has done what he's done this year in one of the best professional leagues in the world and a potato for a coach. He's inevitable.

I remember being super impressed with Galchenyuk's half season in the OHL before he was called up after the NHL lockout of 2012-2013 and Caufield's 2nd season with Wisconsin, but never to this extent...The talent level is just insane on this player and he's gettig better and better as the season progresses.

Ok I'll listen to the podcast to see how credible his take and sources seem.

He's the guy who said Dubois was what 95% or 99% coming to Montreal...

Friedman has been consistent on this topic. He reported before the 2023 draft that there was chatter that Michkov was possibly maneuvering to land to a specific team. He's a reference dating back to 2023.

The previous goal said 13th. Shouldn't this be his 14th?

Yeah I think it's his 14th

The entire season is already a success really

The fears were he could possibly be in MHL AGAIN all year this year
VHL maybe
But the KHL noise was all bad, like, even before it started happening we knew he'd get like 3 minute games in the KHL
That the whole season would be interesting and partially turbulent no matter what because of that 1 year left on contract

All things considered, again, it's a roaring success, even with the moron coach like you said

Lol I love Anthony.

He’s right though.
I love the "Il n'a que 19 ans" comment.

The problem is Rotenberg will look at Demidov’s most recent success and think he was justified in benching him before when it’s obvious Ivan would have dominated this way all season.

As long as the idiot thinks Demidov is proving him correct, he can ruin other prospects with the same approach later.

He certainly tried hard to keep Demidov from setting rookie KHL records.

My worry is he’ll find something to complain about Demidov’s game and go back to benching him. Something stupid like not wanting this production to go to his head.
