The west should have plenty of shame for their role in the conflict as well. This should have been over long ago but there exists many powerful interests that look to extend all war$$$$.

The reality is that young hockey players who have nothing to do with this shouldn't have to suffer for it. I guess that extends a lot further than hockey but in this context I'm only talking about hockey.

It's a shame that this war is now on the timeframe of the Korean War in length, hopefully it ends and Russian hockey can reenter the fold, they've done nothing to deserve the shunning they've received. I'd love to see Demidov in the next Olympics or whatever best in best tournament we get.
