You know what's really sad about it? Jensen fetched Bowey and a 2nd, Walman cost a 2nd to deal, so net total we got Madison Bowey for both combined and a 5th.

Most GMs would get fired for that alone. IIRC, the issue was his next contract and Jensen signed 4x$2.5M, which is more than reasonable. It was stupid to deal him, especially considering he was playing top pair in Detroit. Ideally, he's #4D.

Yeah, don't even need to go back in time and keep Jensen either. Maata is a decent 3rd pair defenseman, he's looking alrigth playing 20 min a night for Utah atm.

But yeah, if you keep Jensen and Hronek-

It's interesting how Jensen has played 27 career playoff games, scored 0+0=0 points and has been -9 on them.

Dime of dozen guy, in reality.

The only time he was at Top4 at playoff time, he went -5 in one series.

Better as 3rd pair defenceman.

While I didn't mind the Maatta trade, he should have been kept til the deadline at least, but we couldn't because Lalonde kept scratching either him or AlJo to play Petry and Gustafsson.

Maybe we don't fall as far as we did if Maata is in that whole time instead of Holl.

To add some salt, the 5th round pick we gave Washington in this trade was dealt to the Devils who will sign this guy for next season.
