I like that he's going to Michigan. Seems like a player who'll benefit from playing in North America and against top competition.

This is the furthest thing from an organizational need, though. It would be nice if we could diversify our pool...

We got our bash brothers with the first two picks.

Hopefully Green is our Gordon Bombay.

I have said for awhile now that you can predict with near certainty who the Sens scouting staff will pick based on who has the most PIMs: Elite Prospects - NHL Draft Center

Yakemchuk and Eliasson had the most penalty minutes of all the D in this draft.

This scouting staff only cares about toughness and physicality. It's laughably obvious at this point.

Drafts a guy who led all dmen in the WHL in scoring with 30 goals, also called the most skilled dman in the draft.

"They only care about toughness and physicality!"

I thought we’d go with the big Finn but this makes perfect sense. As I’ve said since Staios was hired, he wants a big D corps.

At #39, this is a bit of a head scratcher. I would've been happy to add a player like this in the 5th/6th rd. But at 39, I would've gone with Pulkkinen. Equally as big but more well rounded.

So the Habs added Demidov and Hage with 5th OA and 21st OA picks. We added Yakemchuk and Eliasson with 7th OA and 39th OA picks. OUCH

Who is going to score goals lmao? Stutzle, Tkachuk, Batherson, Pinto/Greig and then the offense goes DRY like crazy

It looks like we're still in Dorion era regarding drafting

Why wasn't the scouting department revamped? They didn't look at the 2021-24 draft results?

Who's going to score goals? You just said who, Stützle, Tkachuk, Batherson, Pinto, Greig, and Norris if he's healthy. Are you expecting 4 lines of snipers?
