Banned for what? Having an opinion different from others? Not afraid to have a differing viewpoint. Aint scared.
I don't think you should, or will be, banned. This site is pretty lackadaisical when it comes to someone trolling, or doing something that others might perceive to be trolling. As long as you don't do it to other posters, it's generally allowed.
Having said that, you have not argued any of this whole "Lev is a bottom pairing guy at best" in good faith, which is why your posts come off to others as trolling.
You keep calling the guy who was just selected second overall last June a future bottom pairing guy at best, which the large majority of hockey scouts/fans would probably find issue with. Yes, that could end up being the case. Busts do happen. Though there is little evidence to suggest that that would happen at this point in time. Nobody will know for years what he will become and everything he has shown in various leagues over the last few years is trending in the opposite direction from where you are suggesting.
When you are called out on this, you continually bring up this friend of yours that you claim to be a former NHL scout. You have shown no evidence that you have a friend who was ever in that position, nor proof of his claims regarding Lev's abilities. You also have no evidence to suggest that even if he was a scout and he does not like Levshunov, that he's a scout worth paying any attention to. There are a number of scouts who still are working, I doubt many of them feel that Levshunov is, at this point in time, unlikely to ever become more than a bottom pairing D.
Bob McKenzie's draft ranking from less than a year ago, for example, had 8 of 10 NHL scouts list Levshunov in their top 5, with the other two scouts listing him at 6th and 7th. NHL scouts aren't picking a guy they view as "bottom pairing" in the top 10, let alone top 5. And Lev has not performed badly enough in Rockford to have his value drop that substantially in less than a year's time. So even if you do have a scout friend who doesn't like him, who gives a shit? Most scouts, the ones that still have a job in that role, feel otherwise.
And you continue to not respond to my question about Keith vs Rundblad and Seabrook vs Rozsival, even though they are easy answers that everyone here knows already. You just aren't answering because it shows the errors in plus/minus, the main stat you're using to try to prove your (or your friend's) point about Levshunov.
So while I don't think what you've done here constitutes trolling to a level where you can be reprimanded, your actions here are cluing the rest of us into the type of poster you are.
