Yep. And like I said before, first time in 43 years they've missed the semis two years in a row. That's how rare it is for Canada to bomb two years in a row.

They just did due to the "legal issues" and the slush fund and the inability for Hockey Canada to explain what it was for. Katherine Henderson took over the top job in 2023 and a few people fell on their swards before she took their heads

They are gone. NEw boss started in 2023 and many people who were behind the scenes were made to walk the plank
 
This is the worse Canadian team I can remember in almost 30 years of watching the tournament. Not even a top 5 team in the tournament without Russia even being there, I never thought I’d say that ever in my lifetime.

Just a complete embarrassment regardless of who was left off the team, the guys who are there are playing like absolute garbage.

They can’t get past the redline. So sloppy and disjointed

What happened to Canada pounding teams into submission when things tough?


The World Juniors were we pounded Ovechkin to tears was the best

They’ve been terrible.

Dickinson has coughed up the puck in the o zone so many times he may as well be playing for Czechia.
 
Canada reminds me of that popular meme right now “when your boss says not every job is a two man job” they always have two guys fighting for the same ice or fighting eachother for the puck. Zero execution, getting beat all over the ice, can’t even get one clean chance, if only turnovers were scoring chances with these guys.

Not one good defender on the team, Dickinson terrible decision making, Bonk completely lost, Molendyk skates fast and that’s literally it. Ten cent brain and couldn’t hit the net if his life depended on it.
