Why have Parekh on this team QB'ing a PP when you can have Oliver Bonk who doesn't even QB his own PP (Dickenson does in London who doesn't even play on either unit for Team Canada).

Why bring Misa who leads the CHL in scoring when we can have Easton Cowen having the WORST, DUMBEST, SHITTIEST shootout attempt in the history of hockey. Literally the worst attempt I have ever seen. I'm going to go deke myself into the boards, then do not one stupid leg kick, but two, then whiff. Absolute donkey out there.

USA is going to demolish these bums on New Years Eve. Especially without our best player who injured himself to get out of playing with the rest of these bums.

Even though we can only speculate, knowing how insecure these old f***s in hockey are, especially the degenerates who run Hockey Canada, I 100% could buy this as a reason why Parekh/Yak aren't on the team. It’s perfectly reasonable to be critical of the team selection when we have the most talented players in the world and management has to try and giga brain it every year to try and prove that they’re smarter than everyone instead of just letting the best players do their thing

They are far from infallible, but pretending like you know better when you don't have the information needed to form an intelligent opinion is far worse than them picking who they pick. You sound like Oilers fans who were whining when Darnell Nurse wasn't invited to the WJC camp.

Well, I imagine if Canada would have lost to Latvia that year because they needed a big dumb giraffe to make a stupid play and it didn’t happen, that a lot of those oilers fans would have felt validated

Great skater and he genuinely does have very good offensive instincts but... yeah. He's not the polished two way D that scouting reports would lead you to believe and his ridiculous stats are a London Knight's thing.

That being said this Team Canada doesn't come down to one or two guys playing bad. Half of this team should not be there.

Imagine being Canada, with some of the most skilled Juniors players in the world, with one of our 2 main rivals/countries that can match us in skilled players not even in the tournament (Russia), and going 2-0-1-3 (W/OTW/OTL/L) and being 10th out of 10 countries for scoring efficiency. That shit is just absolutely wild to me.

I will say, George deserved better. Imagine being the second best goaltender in the tournament through 5 games and placing 5th overall. If it weren't for him, we'd probably be facing relegation with how this team played.
