Those Florida mosquitoes are surprisingly wimpy too. Tiny, frail Heinola mosquitoes, as opposed to the Byfuglien like mosquitoes we get here. Winnipeg's had a pretty good run when it comes to mosquitoes over the last decade, though...nowhere near as bad as it was in the 90s and before.

Yeah, I have to agree totally. Over the last 5- 6 years, I may have only been bitten maybe 1 or 2 times, in each year. That’s way better than it was about 10 - 15 years ago, when you’d get swarmed by those blood thirsty skeeters.

Assuming Nelson doesn't re-sign with NYI, I can understand from the Jets perspective getting Nelson as a rental. Not sure why from a Jets perspective we would won't to sign long term? He will be 34 y/o at the start of next season and you would have to think he would be looking at at least 5 years, maybe more if he can get it.

He’ll be 34 before next season begins so a three year deal makes sense. Maybe four. But anything more is likely to be bought out.

I am surprised people want to offer Nelson 3-5 years at his age. Look how fast Wheeler declined at around the same age. Anything more than 2 years is too much. 5 years, and I hanging up the phone right there.

Columbus really screwed up their end of the trade by putting themselves in a bad financial position. A good rental usually gets a 1st. Considering he has another year, it's more than fair IMO.

They chose Laine over Bjorkstrand... wild choice in hindsight.
