At least it means we don’t need to trade for depth at tdl. Also with 2nd line looking good, just get a bottom pairing d and call it a day.

They could keep him in and pull Kupari as I believe it's between the 2. Kupari is a lot faster, Gus gives u a bit more offense.

Hard no to Seth Jones especially at anything over $4m a season...

If we are looking at Chicago, Connor Murphy would be a very good 3rd line/PK option - with only one year left at $4m too

Maybe they throw in Pat Maroon so we can PB him as our good luck charm

I'm so excited to see them play together (hopefully) I've always thought they would be an amazing pair together. Unfortunately he's been pretty up front that he doesn't want to go anywhere. Don't really see the Blues moving him either they seem to want to continue to try to complete.

Want no part of Schenn at the price that's being floated he's producing at the same level as Vlad but makes 4.5 mil more. His contract does back dive in the final 2 years so I guess that's a positive for a Jets team that's unlikely to be a cap ceiling team past next year. If the price was just a pick and a prospect or maybe a pick and a low end roster player sure that's a fair deal but that's about it.

Laughton makes a lot if sense of we are doing the Lowry 2c idea. He's also played top 6 and special teams for the flyers often as well.

Apparently the room and org absolutely love him in Philly so I don't think team chemistry would be an issue.

Any forward acquisition is going to come at a roster forward's expense. Iafollo, Gustaffson, Barron, perhaps even Kuppari would have to be dealt.

Rackell has a cap hit of $5 million & is signed 3 years beyond this season. Ehlers?

It's not a hard no, but I'm not sure if Rakell is the "perfect fit" as is suggested.

If we wait until the deadline I don’t think anyone has to go as roster limits no longer exist. Just cap limits. Which we have about 12 mil of at the deadline.

But you are correct. Prior to that, our roster would all have to be dealt or placed on waivers one for one for each player added. I’m not sure how moving anyone would be received on the team. I really think we are doing all our moves last minute.
