Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. For us it was at Club Soda in the afternoon with Joe Aiello and ya the draft sucked big time. One time as we were leaving i threw up and didn't feel it even coming , the boys had a very good giggle and so did i .25 cents ?, 10 cent draft night at the Grant, used to bring them to your table in the dishwasher rack, those were sure different times and the draft sucked.

I would consider doing perfetti + a prospect for dobson but maybe get samberg signed before you move cole. Those two are very good friends.

I don't watch a ton of Chicago games, but I'd be really interested to see how he fares outside of the tire fire that is Chicago. You can never have too many big mobile defenseman and I'd love to see how he'd do in a situation where he didn't have to be "the man". This team has a few years left with Helley, Scheif, etc. in their prime. So long as he's ok in the locker room and wouldn't hurt the chemistry take a swing.

The rumour is an elite forward, I love Cole but he doesn't qualify, it would have to be one of KC, Scheifs, Vilardi and Ehlers and they are basically all untouchable (unless Ehlers won't re-sign but I doubt they want a UFA who probably won't sign with them)
His best years were quite long ago when he played on a defensively deep Nashville team, and then was glued to Werenski in Columbus. He's 30. He a RD - so he'd be on the top pair with Morrissey? 2RD is Pionk and I dunno about Jones - Stanley.
And he's got 5 more years at $9.5M per season? Chicago would have to retain...a lot. And what's going the other way?

Whats the consensus in here on Dobson? I don't think he would be a good partner for Morrissey (both are offensively minded, Dobson is weaker defensively) and i'd be hesitant to split up Samberg-Pionk.
Dobson is going to want 10 million plus a year over 8 years starting next year.
Rather have Pelech or Pulock.

Perfetti + for Dobson would be great in the offseason. I don't think we can afford to shake things up that much in-season while we're king of the hill.
I dunno... would you trade Samberg for Perfetti, Heinola and a late 1st? I probably wouldn't...
I think both guys are full NMC. not that we can't have a preference. Just saying.

It won't shock me to see them make a move for Cozens. I think its going to come down to price and I wouldn't be surprised if its a bigger deal.

We don't have the assets for Dobson. We are talking about a legit 50 plus point big right handed number 1 dmen who is young.
I'm a big Perfetti fan but he doesn't get that conversation started. Ask yourself if an equivalent player on another team would get the conversation started for JoMo? If it doesn't then fat chance Lou even considers it.
