Injury Report: 2024-25 Sharks/Barracuda health: Mukhamadullin out for the year

Yeah pretty bad response by the team last night. Goodrow or Ostapchuk should have hammered Vatrano for that if he wouldn't fight.
Frustrating that Grier got all these 4th line/borderline NHL player tough guys to protect the kids who apparently don't fight unless they want to. Goodrow should only be used as a last resort. He won't be hurting anyone.

Did Nashville win the Askarov trade? Askarov is looking like an injury-prone risk. GMMG should have learned this old adage before making the trade: "If it’s too good to be true, it probably is."
I don't think he's injury prone. The last few seasons he has played a decent amount. No clue about the time in Russia. I'm too lazy to hunt thru the Russia history to see if that is injury or just tomfoolery.

It's been less than a year and Nashville has gotten not a damn thing so far from the trade (Edstrom is in Sweden, Chrona is in the AHL, and the pick hasn't even been used).

Nashville has three lottery tickets in exchange for three different lottery tickets (Askarov, Burke, 3rd).

Am I crazy on did Muk injure his shoulder on the initial hit? After watching the replay back it seemed like he was starting to grab at his shoulder before getting tackled.
I did have that thought at the time when watching the replays. Who knows—and we may never actually find out—but it would help explain why he let Vatrano throw him down kind of easily (though I suppose that could just be from being caught by surprise).
