Walman to IR to make room for Shak? But yeah I don’t know whats the plan when Walman returns, easiest option is to send Shak back down to the Cuda but I would prefer keeping Shak with the Sharks. Maybe a trade will come who knows

I agree however it would be odd if the organization isn’t attempting to get at least one of our kids adjusting to the NHL (and Thrun doesn’t count).

If there hasn't been much progress on Couture's injury, and he hasn't stepped on the ice, I don't see how there's any hope he'll play this season (and frankly, probably never again).

even if Couture gets healthy enough to play, he'll also have just aged out of NHL level hockey based on the age curve and limited conditioning for the last 2 years.

If there hasn't been much progress on Couture's injury, and he hasn't stepped on the ice, I don't see how there's any hope he'll play this season (and frankly, probably never again).

It sounds like he’s still working out and all so it’s not like he’s completely out of shape but yeah if his injury magically goes away, I imagine it would take at least half a year to get back to speed. I suspect he’s done though, sadly.
