GDT: 2024-25 SEASON GAME 81 LA Kings vs Seattle Kraken @7:30pm 4/15/25

Los Angeles Kings record for most points in a season. The record would be set back in the 1974-75 season when that Kings team had 105 points, led by head coach Bob Pulford. Can the Kings break this on Thursday?

With the Win the Los Angeles Kings tied a team record for most points in a season...the 1975 LA Kings had that mark...and that summer the team got torn apart...but that was Jack Kent Cooke who couldn't leave well enough alone...Good Luck to the Kings on Thursday in LA!!!

Rittich staying consistent with a mid .800 performance.

La is a lottery team without Darcy stepping up this year.
That is the 2nd time this season Rittich has been the winner of a 6-5 win! I would like to see Copley get another crack at being the Kings backup next season if GMRB wants to stay cheap. Definitely let Rittich walk, Portillo probably needs another season with the Reign, if not Copley then RB should try to sign Dan Vladar.

well, that's prob a bit of an exaggeration...but yeah, par for the course around here.

With that said, most teams who have the top goalies in the league, could be in the 'we'd be a lottery team without you' category.

To be a lottery team, LA would only need to have lost an additional 8 games. Based on his GAA Rittich would have yielded 38 more goals thank Kuemper, taking LA from #2 defensively to #16.

Not the exaggeration that you think it is.

You are making the assumption that the Kings would have played the season with David Rittich as their #1 goaltender - yes, that's fantasyland.
