  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Gotta wonder if not playing Turcotte was half because he got his bell rung, and half because he would have matched up against Rempe in a extremely physical game etc....I don't mind not playing the kid in that situation there's no upside here, it's not a divisional rival, he is probably banged up.....etc.

I can't believe we didn't get Quick yet again. WTW?!?

This team is winning their 1st round SCP series this year. The drought will finally be over.

Yep
Yeah definitely seems like a guy who doesn't know what to do with the puck unless he can get a shot off.

It's very weird to me that Kings fans are still trying to label Laferriere as a player who isn't skilled, 'doesn't know what to do with the puck', is 'nothing more than a below average middle 6 forward', etc etc.

Laferriere is VERY good. And he's just getting started.

The point production has fallen off a little bit from the first 25 games or so, but he's still incredibly effective and he's still making great plays every night. The guys is snakebitten as hell right now but the points will 100% come.

Laferriere is an inch from scoring in every game. And he makes opportunities solo too. I’m not worried about him. He’s definitely good enough to get shit poppin by himself.

Finally got to watch in full

Kuzmenko is the most creative King I can literally ever remember...AND somehow works with Kopitar. That's usually water and oil but he's added such a sick dynamic to that line.

Whatever his flaws are that let him get taken for a 3rd, they arent apparent so far

Defense, size, 'effort' meaning he gets pushed around on the boards. But finally, the Kings said "hey we've got possession and a bunch of two way players maybe adding this enigmatic scorer will help" and actually stuck to it and let him play this time instead of burying him on the 4th line for being a bad checker....honestly their roster moves since the 4 nations have been so inspired it's like a different organization. What the f*** happened??

Jeannot...damnit. Hope he's okay. He was an absolute power forward MONSTER last night. That's the guy they traded for. Where has he been? even when not scoring he's causing havoc, speeding around, creating space. Get well soon.

f*** Rempe, like i'm all for his role in the NHL but he does not understand The Code at all. David vs. Goliath and Jeannot not only dropped him he helped him up so he could complete the ass beating and then Rempe throws from behind a ref? Why do you need to be such a f***ing p***y, were you embarrassed? Because that makes sense.

Byfield really deserved to keep his G streak going last night, bummed about that, but drawing penalties left and right is nice...and he accepted a pass and dropped Fox with a stiff arm in one motion last night to create a great chance, hope he continues to realize he can do that...combined speed, power, and hands all in one. Malkin-esque.

Suddenly a few guys look stronger on their skates again...notably Danault and Moore. Fiala as well, the reverse hit shows his confidence on his skates/edges again.

Laf...just keep plugging away. The floodgates will open soon. Maybe for the playoffs.

Kuemper has exceeded any expectation, keep this man healthy at all costs.

That game had the potential to go south and they held it together in a way they haven't on the road...that's the one really missing ingredient right this minute. Big measuring stick game vs. the Avs at Mile High tomorrow. Otherwise, honestly, starting to get 2012 vibes, with everyone rolling and peaking at the right time.

There was a play where Moore had the puck and he was being hounded. I don't know how many times the Ranger player tried to knock him down but Moore was stuck in place. That was impressive stuff.

On the NYR broadcast they said LA's coaching staff has spent many hours watching film with Fiala. Teaching him to remove the unnecessary risk from his game.

I assume coaching staffs have film sessions with all their players, but it was a particular emphasis with Fiala.

Maybe this is the reason he looked so flat most of the year? Adjustment period? He's producing offense lately without being as mistake-prone. The dumb plays aren't completely gone, but there has been an improvement. Hopefully we're getting the new Fifi. Fiala version 2.0.

Sure that sounds 100% logical, but I am still going to credit his turn around on shaving that awful moustache

What happened to Jeannot? How did he get injured?
Stretched out to block a shot (don't think he actually got hit though), it's being reported as a potential non-contact injury, which is exactly what it looked like

Best case scenario is a mild pull or a strain but his reaction wasn't encouraging at all. Sucks honestly, hope he's back soon
