The last people I’ll blame are the young players, whom Kings management have dicked around for the last 5 years. Clarke should have been free to make these mistakes years ago.

He has a streak of being all bark and no bite. Just plays super soft and scared of contact. Hoping he grows out of it, still has time on his side...

Aside from the PK, Kings played pretty well.

But there's a reason why finishing ability is so important in this league.

When your entire plan is to recapture the glory days with old gas bags like Kopitar and doughty while literally drafting mediocre player; then those players you develop into worse players

It’s really hard to be hopeful when Byfield is light years from Kopitar’s caliber, and Brandt Clarke is not even in the same universe as Doughty.
