No one here will say that Clarke has been playing well of late, much like the rest of the team. But I don't think anyone would agree that he deserves to be benched

He was leading their d in points nearly point per game. Then the coach went to the media to complain that he shouldnt do fancy stuff in the offensive zone.
Then Doughty started skating to come back from injury and theyve been dicking him around ever since.
This is the worst run organization and most poorly coached team in the league.

He's been up and down. The frustrating thing is he's not being allowed to work through these issues. He seems to have been put in the doghouse since Doughty returned.

Before the coach went to the media to call him out he was playing great. They wanted him to focus on the dzone more. He isnt great defensively. He struggles a little there because hes still skinny with no man strength. His treatment has more to do with Doughty coming back and there not being room for him. They looked better without Doughty but no ones allowed to talk about it. Have you even heard Doughtys name tonight?

I was at the game tonight. Left in the middle of the 3rd period. Absolutely disgusting.
Unnecessary give-aways, cannot convert esp 2 on 0 or PP, absolutely no physical pushback ever.
Only redeeming quality was leaving knowing Rob Blake is one step closer to getting fired.
