Its you.is it me or has byfield been terrible?
Should I rev up the wagon to trade him?
If only the Kings had brains enough to have let him play another 3-4 seasons in Sweden rather bringing him over at 20 years old...stupid move...fighting for spots with our other young players instead of spreading them out and having them play lots of ice time in their own Leagues instead of the AHL where 99% of Forwards go to "Die"!!!If only we had a young, right shot forward that was a natural goal scorer.. hmm.

Yet another classic of theself fulfilling f***ery of using 11-7.
Don't play Lewis, Turcotte and Jeannot much because the foward lines are scuffed, because you're running odd numbers, so the other forwards that are playing are gassed from going every other shift, because you're actually only playing 8 forwards, and one of those forwards is a 37 year old.
And you don't play Clarke because umm... well... but you do play Doughty 21 minutes (-3)
So in reality it's playing 8-6. Although not giving Lewis ice time is a net positive.
(first game of a b2b btw)
I love extrapolating the data of the boxscore to show the r*tardation of Jim Hiller.
I remember players the Kings drafted way back that didn't have the greatest stride...Robitaille,Nicholls...but they were Forwards and they could score goals in bunches...Clarke is a D-man isn't strong enough and hesitates and isn't very good Defensively and once he loses a step he's a career AHLer or KHL bound or Switzerland or something...he's my whipping boy cause the Kings could have had Dylan Guenther a RWinger that can play LWing and shoots Right...all Blake needed to do was take him instead the Kings took Clarke to add to the 8 RD-men they already had...Geus some people are just dumb dumb...
And Chromiak waits for the chance he'll never get...he should have stayed in Slovakia and played a tonne and developed lots to the point were the Kings would have been beating down his door...right now LA is looking for a RWinger but let Arvidsson walk because of injuries...or whatever
It seemed like the Lewis line was out there as much as Byfields line. Hiller finally put the best line together and treated them like a 3rd or 4th line. The broadcast before the game had Kopitar line as the #1 line. The whole charade with the legacy vets is coming to roost. Curios to see who they decide to build around and what they give up in this next week.Yet another classic of theself fulfilling f***ery of using 11-7.

Just a tweak.Hiller sucks at coaching hockey too.
This whole nonsense of trying to win again for Kopitar and doughty has ruined a decade of developmentIt seemed like the Lewis line was out there as much as Byfields line. Kopitar gets 7 million next year also.

He really helped Ontario as they lost 4-0 tonight. It accentuated his 2 goals in 15 AHL games. If only we had a young, right shot forward that was a natural goal scorer.. hmm.

Has anyone stood out down there lately? Anyone worth a call up down there stretch ?He really helped Ontario as they lost 4-0 tonight. It accentuated his 2 goals in 15 AHL games.
The game was quite enjoyable. Jeannot managed to take two guys out at the same time. Spent the rest of the time drinking rum & coke & sending "retro" music to a niece. She enjoys that stuff. Hit some posts. Played an actual playoff team.Wasn't able to watch tonight, was it as bad as the scoreline indicated?
