Good for Lewis to get to 1000 games. When you think about it, it is a special seat. Not many guys can make it to the thousand game mark. Very well respected by his teammates and such. I don’t mind them as a 13th forward keep him a little fresher and wheel a kid through the lineup instead of having Lewis play every game.

Kings have been better lately with funneling everything towards the net instead of dump and chase and grinding until they find the perfect pass. Puck carrier pulls up and has 3 options for a pass then a shot on net. Its simple and effective.

Trevor Lewis was a pretty good pick. Think about all the 1st round picks that only played a hand full of games in the NHL. He didn't turn out to be another Ron Francis, but he's been a pretty good checking forward.
