I think that is what is angering me the most. Other players don't have to take him up on it. Just start throwing punches, especially if they are running the goalie and taking liberties. If they fight back, cool. If they don't, he'll get a roughing penalty at most since refs are afraid to call the instigator penalty (even when it is really egregious). I thought Jeannot was going to be the guy to drag our scaredy cats into some battles, but I was wrong. Guys with balls come here and get neutered. I'm not saying they need to turn into the Broadstreet Bullies, but man, I watch this team and I wonder when the NHL banned hitting.
