Gotta laugh and wonder why Hiller won't just go back to the lineup that was winning, but whatevs, guess he's not that desperate yet. I hope Doughty doesn't play tonight, I could see f***chuk taking a cheap shot at him....
 
Jeannot is not a top 9 player. He put together a decent stretch of games when he was first moved up the lineup but this is a player with a career high of 41 points and his next highest point total in a season is 14 points.

Jeannot will be a 4th line forward for the Kings after the TDL so honestly he probably should get used to playing with Lewis. Lewis has been the more productive of the two forwards lol. There's no offense to spark. I like Jeannot on the 4th line while a younger player like Thomas gets a chance up the lineup at least until the Kings are able to find a legit top 9 winger at the deadline.

Actually, last season, the 'bleeding' started much earlier....prob last two weeks of Dec. Then, at this point in January, Kings were 2-10.

Good measuring stick for Hiller - gotta be firmly aware that this team can't continue on a negative streak. He's done a pretty good job with these games in the past, let's see how tonight goes.
 
This game will tell us a lot about the trajectory of the team.

Prior to this stretch they bounced back well after a loss; now they're playing like shit and stringing losses together. Can they snap out of it or does the dogshit play continue?
 
The good news is my hotel actually has TNT as a TV channel. The bad news is it’s a 10pm game here on the east coast.

No idea how these out of market fans tune in for these late starts for over half the season ever since April 2017.

It’s a f***ing bitch, I can confirm. I solve the problem by just checking the score in the morning.
