Hiller's coaching philosophy is easy to play against in the playoffs. Just score on the Kings 1st, and make them chase the rest of the game. Kings do not know how to come from behind because their coaches philosophy is to score first and make the opponent chase the game.
 
This is 100% deserved and needed. Hiller can't just sweep the last couple (some could argue 5) games under the rug and be like "we get to go home, we have good record"

Hiller and the Kings deserve this embarrassment loss! To think when Doughty comes back it will be better, then the team has another thing coming. This 11-7 lineup is dumb and just about no team uses it unless they are short of players for a given night. Go 12-6 so you have 4 lines that may be able to score and not overwork some of the forwards!

Get a backup goalie that can win games for the team. Rittich is done and should not be on the roster next season.
 
I don’t usually watch kings games. Does Byfield always look this good? Feel like he deserves better wingers who can keep up and make space for him. Unfortunate.
 
4-15 when the other team scores 3 goals.

For comparison, Edmonton is 9-15, Vegas is 8-12

Do people actually think the Kings are going to beat EDM, Vegas and whoever comes out of the central by holding those teams to 2 goals a game? Not only are those teams super talented, but the rules of the game are geared towards offense.

This is what I will never understand with what Blake and Robitaille are doing with this dead puck era style they have implemented.

i dont think Blucs overseers recognize that the window was only half open at its best and is on the way to closing again... Bluc just running a system that will get them back in to keep the optics up so they keep their jobs alive... thats all I got.
 
losses in 4 of our last 5, the 1 win against a reeling Canucks team. Might need to start shaking things up outside of Doughty coming back
