That McSaviour hit on Laferriere was fkcing dirty no wonder Alex tried to lasso and hog tie the whiny Ah-hole cause in Edmonton he can do no wrong and League must have a mandate don't touch the "Golden" boy...I was happy to see Kempe slew foot him it was pay back cause sometimes that's a bitch McFkc off

April 5th and 14th.

I mean you gotta prioritize playoff position but sending a message and start chipping away with a physical game would be second priority.

Get those Ground Hogs before they get us, be ready to match with hard heads up hockey, with out risking injury or suspension.

Draisaddle is at 14 mill and McMicro expires after next season.

Hmm?

I just don't feel like I should need to preface each post with "I love hiller and he's been great for this org" in order for it to not be some macrocommentary.
Maybe it's just me, but isn't this macrocommentary in stating Hiller selectively enforces accountability, or that he's allowed other things to transpire?
No one respects a coach who coddles some players and selectively enforces accountability on others, imo.

Granted it was as teens but I've seen whole teams fall apart and quit because the star player could do whatever he wanted no matter if it hurt the team

Right now Hiller is just Mr. Burns

Like I said above I think everyone GETS the benching, we just think its horseshit based on what else has been allowed to transpire.

I'm not trying to pick a fight - it just sounds like more frustration is being directed at the benching than what makes sense.

It was a soft penalty (clinging onto his legs) and selfish, in that it wasn't a galvanizing the team type of energy. It was frustration. Ascribing that to preferential treatment just feels misdirected.

Is the issue because you want more discipline on Fiala for other dumb things he does? If yes, I'm with you. But I think that's a different conversation.

There is a report that Laferriere is hurt and won't play tonight.
I am guessing that the likely the reason for the"benching"
Yah, he def won't play tonight -- but good news, the resident whipping boys (Fiala and Lewis) won't be playing either!

I think its a coincidence. I thnk Hiller benched him for the pen, but he ended up having an injury that was not initially detected - which to me sounds like a concussion.

Great context on these two comments.

I agree and it seems Laffy felt the injury and so I understand the frustration and maybe it was part of the reason he was stapled in the third period.

And why Kempe responded.

Regardless Kings have to go for the wins and points with discipline but McMicro needs to addressed for repeatedly injuring Kings players.

It needs to be done at the right time when points and a game are not on the line.

He needs to be hit as hard as legally possible and get a dose of his own medicine before the series.

No I don't think either of you guys are picking on me, it's just a disagreement and I'm just making sure it doesn't turn into a thought that I hate Hiller overall or something

I guess it's a larger commentary in a sense that I don't like this benching in light of many other non-benchings. But it's not a larger commentary in the sense that me saying this doesn't mean I don't appreciate him in general.

I guess in short yes, I wish his treatment for Laf last night was consistent throughout the roster. Which I don't think is much different than my complaints over the last few years really, kids don't get away with nearly the same shit vets do. In an absolute vacuum--I agree with you guys, bench him. On this team? Gross.

McDavid's body count is growing...that's now Kempe, Anderson, and Laf.

Rumor is McDavid doesnt wipe.. thats how dirty he is. Good on Adrian for taking care of business later on.
