Imagine being a GM for 7 years and voluntarily benching Spence so the D you can roll out in game 3 of a young season is Anderson - Clarke / UFA Gavrikov - the worst top pairing D in the league last year Burroughs / the worst d in the nhl last year Englund and a Dman on his wrong side because you’re out of RHDs after the prospect pool you pissed away (yes I know he plays both sides)
