Its pretty crazy that Hiller does this especially how well they closed out games while he was injured. Theyve blown 2-3 leads with Lewis out there at the end of a game before he got hurt.

Not to mention, the guys got some of the better hockey sense on the roster. He has all the makings of a late bloomer.

I watched those WJC games and he was the best player on that line with Kaliyev and Zegras (and probably top3 on the team behind Boldy and Hughes). I knew he'd be good. I just hoped that he could put on more strength and size.

These are the reps that players like Turcotte need (and have rightfully earned). The team doesn’t grow forward giving these chances to the corpse of Trevor Lewis.
