They’ll find someone, they spend the whole day on the internet. No one complaining about Byfield now. So who you guys gonna pick on next?
LOVE Hiller….Game started well. Good physicality.
Hiller needs his head examined for playing Burroughs. He feels uneasy giving Spence Dzone draws, but does icing Burroughs really help?
(3 min & a sweet drop pass to no one to start the Oilers scoring)
Second, King's went right back to passive hockey. Good job Hiller.
OT: Hiller actually started 2 forwards that could skate & the King's didn't lose in the first 30 seconds!!!!
Byfield with two snipes!
Hiller needs to start improving rapidly. Got a lot of sloppiness to clean up.
I agree and I would say that to my friends, but if we were pro I wouldn’t tell the media about it unless I don’t consider them my friends/there’s bad blood.I don’t know how many competitive sports teams you have been a part of, but there isn’t a single guy I’ve played with that wouldn’t make that joke at some point.
It’s hilarious, man.
turcotte or kopitar surelyNo one complaining about Byfield now. So who you guys gonna pick on next?
I agree. I took it more as friendly ribbing, since they were teammates in the past.I don’t know how many competitive sports teams you have been a part of, but there isn’t a single guy I’ve played with that wouldn’t make that joke at some point.

i love it when Byfield celebrates, it shows he gives a crap, unlike when the rare occasion PLD scored.I love all the whining about Byfield celebrating. I would love to post the Yakupov clip on their board, but I'd probably get banned or something. That said, there are a few level-headed fans there. For example:
"On the "credit where credit is due" side:
-Kopitar is still a great player at age 37. Let's hope that Mc-D and Drai will follow the same genetic path and stay great for a very long time.
-Excellent game for Byfield--you have to give younger guys some rope. Looks like it is paying off for the Kings."
Rob BlakeNo one complaining about Byfield now. So who you guys gonna pick on next?
The biggest reason I don't want the Kings to play Edmonton again is they have some of the least likeable fans.
Understood. Please know it's obviously not all (and I'm cognizant of all fans, including Kings fans, have their fair share of ignorant blowhards), but the especially obnoxious ones are very transparent with their irrationalityYou're not wrong. I'm an Oilers fan and the only fans I actually dislike happen to be certain Oiler fans, especially the ones who are inexplicably fiercely loyal to Stu Skinner because he's a "nice guy."
Jeannot must be resigned…What a game by Byfield, Foegele and Jeannot. This line keeps showing great cohesion and I hope they keep it up.
Moverare has been great for us, cut Burroughs minutes and give it to him
Head to head, you guys stack up pretty well.Oilers fans are such whiners.
What media pressure? You guys always claiming there is none. Maybe he read your posts and is tired of you telling him to 'suck your f***ing d***'.It seems like media pressure has gotten to Hiller judging by the interview right now. He said “If I didn’t put Byfield and Fogele out there you guys would ask me why I didn’t put them on”
Good.
LOL, 166 points in 185 reg season games, 8 points in 8 playoff games -- yeah, what a total DUD.Fiala has been a dud acquisition, and it’s gonna be nearly impossible to navigate the NMC in order to make a change there.
Blake has been good about moving on from mistakes, but I have a feeling we see Kevin ride out his contract in LA. Which really sucks man.
Funny how that works, right? Yay for Bustfield, he gets a 24-hour reprieve from the HFboard abuse.love how all the hate byfield guys just blended right into the we loved byfield all long crowd after this one.. lol, reminds me of the kempe hate around here a couple years ago.
Its a shame he'll probably get bumped off the roster when Drew comes back. I'd take him over redundant Burroughs in a pinch. Seems like he's always getting undeservedly edged out of playing. The 7th D Burroughs experiment needs to end with Kaliyev's return...Moverare has become one of my favorite kings..saw a post game video of him handing the helmet to Byfield after his 200th game..guy seems so likable and has nothing but respect. Especially after all the hoops the organization has made him jump through to finally get some regular playing time.
Also an interview Laff and Clarke had with Boyle and Weekes was gold. I think our future is in good hands with these guys.
There arent that many that hate Byfield. Just a couple posters but they post about it a lot so it seems like theres more.love how all the hate byfield guys just blended right into the we loved byfield all long crowd after this one.. lol, reminds me of the kempe hate around here a couple years ago.
There is a whole lot more that goes into building a hockey team than “this many points in this many games”LOL, 166 points in 185 reg season games, 8 points in 8 playoff games -- yeah, what a total DUD.
Do you guy read your post before you click 'post reply'?
Funny how that works, right? Yay for Bustfield, he gets a 24-hour reprieve from the HFboard abuse.
Such a hypocrite. You've bashed QB plenty over the years (& your alter-ego too). I'm not going to rehash that -- i have a life. But you saying that is BS. I know because i've been a big QB fan since draft day and i'm willing to be patient with guys like him and turc who have to deal with a stupid GM/organization who holds back their development. Some fans are irrational and want immediate results; and that's ok -- it's part of the deal with professional sports and fandom (apparently some can't see that and they become irrational to counteract it on fan boards).Funny how that works, right? I was listening to NHL on Sirius a few days ago. One of the guys on was a writer in Edmonton. He was complaining about Oilers fans. Saying how they are all complaining and doom saying while their team may be in a slump but they are in a playoff spot and with the players on the team will get better as the year goes on.You're not wrong. Ever team has a group of fans that complain that the team should be better if not for (enter player, coach, gm , scout, Bettman, or whatever) but some fans are never happy unless they are complaining.
You are insane and thinking of someone else …and I have no alter ego. Show me a post where I bashed QB, I’ll wait.Such a hypocrite. You've bashed QB plenty over the years (& your alter-ego too).
