i was gonna say the difference in the point play is 180 degrees with clarke out there, he's constantly moving into softer spots instead of standing still waiting for the puck

They are gonna get scored on in the third if they just sit back in the 1-2-2 and flip pucks into center ice for a line change instead of breaking out and dumping it and forechecking.

Yup. I am not looking forward to doughty returning. Just miss him a little on defense but the offset is that he completely kills the PP. for as generational he’s been, he’s been completely brain dead about moving the puck fast to get the PK moving around. Just hold hold hold to get the PK set. Blast off a shin pad.

It will be interesting seeing him a year older and coming off a major injury.

I think his world-class defensive zone game sense is still going to make him a big asset for the Kings, it wouldn't surprise me to see the offense fall off a decent amount though, but it's a good thing the Kings have Clarke. It would be nice if they could manage Doughty's minutes before the playoffs.
