At some point, Clarke sees his D partner with the puck. Has control & time. Clarke takes two strides towards the net. Expecting a pass, he'll have a clear lane to skate to the net!!!! After two strides he realized his D partner was Edmundson, who quickly went from full control of the puck with space to bobbling it. Clarke spins around & heads back to the blue line quickly before there's a turnover & breakaway. Clarke is literally skating in circles trying to figure out what Edmundson is going to do.
Would like to see impaired with Gav. Honestly, I can see what Blake was thinking with the thought of Edmundson. But that was the Edmndson of four years ago. He overpaid on term and dollars for a relic of what once was.

Edmundson doesn't bother me - he's a big stay at home D man who can be a good mentor for Clarke. He's also a great team and locker room guy.

The PLD and now the Fiala trade really bother me.

The thing that should bother you most is that Byfield is a dud and Kopitar is still leading the team.

The issue with this team isn’t realistically the trades even though the PLD trade hurts a lot. It’s the direction they strapped themselves too.

I know people love Kopitar but he’s been here three years too long at this point and for what exactly? No one knows. That old goat could have fetched a first round pick as well as doughty. We could have had a real rebuild but management was too enamored by these old gas bags.
