Night guys.

that would be awesome but unfortunately I got called into work and will probably be here all night. So for me it is just hitting refresh ever hour hoping for a front office firing in LaLa Land

Give that man Kudos. At least he tries and cares. Our checking center doesn’t check, our goalie is brittle, Drew hurt, our most skilled guy is like a spoiled poodle that bites ankles and shits on the rug when upset and our future star has scored 3 goals.

Classic!

Preseason - the Kings played their hardest and toughest in the scrimmages....hard hits, a fight or 2...Jeannot wanting to kill Foegele after a play.....and yes, Arty hit hard up high and breaks his clavicle.

Where is that team? They only go out to kill their own? And now games are real and every point needed to make the playoffs, they go soft?

To be fair

I feel the same way about them

Three more points and he will surpass 2nd leading scorer of the 80’s Peter Stastny on NHL’ all time points list. Anze played many years on a defensive minded team too.

Without getting injured he will probably end @ spot 39 at the end of the year.

I think it's very telling just HOW good Anze Kopitar is that on a dogshit offensive team, with no powerplay to speak of, at age 37, with the biggest difference being slightly fewer defensive responsibilities and a higher-scoring era, all while CLEARLY being a shadow of his former self on the ice, he's significantly above PPG. Hopefully this makes people even fonder of his memory because he's definitely winding down like a true hall of famer. 8 points on the last 11 Kings goals is heavy duty.

I was asking the question because some were praising Rittich, while his GAA was good(before this Sharks game) but his SV% was weak.
One guy -- who pretty much everyone ignores now.

You really don't have much awareness -- this and the previous lovefest for PLD on the boards of the team he took a dump on all last season. It's kind of weird

Missed the game...the Sharks obviously took apart the Kings...maybe they should have played Portillo or maybe not as the score may have been worse

After a night of rest I can say Blake did a good job putting emotion back in the game for me over the last 12 hours

instead of completely disconnected

I am infuriated

Thanks!
I'm not. The Kings are who we thought they were. I haven't been truly emotionally invested in a game since the second Oilers series.

First- Congratulations to the Calgary Flames for making the playoffs.

Second- Rob Blake and Luc Robitaille are out of moves. Like, literally.

The most obvious salvage move to be made is to fire Jim Hiller. Don't think this statement needs to be justified, but too many players have checked out too early into the season. Danault, Moore, Fiala, even Spence is showing signs of checking out. Like a disease. An optimist would look at Byfield and chalk it all up to the pressure of a new contract. Hiller is already losing his grip on the room and you know he's going back to the ol' 7 dmen for Winnipeg.

Think for a sec, we hated McLellan's line-up and in-game decisions but it took 4.5 seasons for him to lose the room, that inflection point where it becomes obvious the coach needs to go. We are already seeing signs that time is coming here for Hiller. Like Wow.

This is what happens when you hand out NTCs, NMCs and all this special treatment to average players. The only move to be made is firing the coach.

The problem is, BLuc kinda can't fire Hiller without firing themselves. It's about to get really dark in here, it's got the 2018-19 vibes all over again. How will it all unfold this time?

Hey, maybe they can just get McLellan to come back and coach the team? Y'know since he's still under contract.

HA!

They gave up 7 goals to the Sharks? That outta keep Kuemper on IR for an extra month.
SJ had 4 posts. It could have been much worse.

Rittick let in a couple that he should have had, but he held the team in the game through two periods when they were bleeding constant high danger chances. Hard to be mad at the back up when the team is letting all that through.

Spoken like a true loser!
Just F-. RIGHT .OFF!

5 total wins, 2 coming from us. That team is playing for picks, and you've let them walk all over you! But hey, you showed them respect right?

Hiller is putting the league on notice. San Jose is not to be underestimated! We got a good team up there.

Man Hiller sounds so much like mcLellan where the Kings are never at fault even when they get their shit pushed in. Rather than saying they’re not tanking and they’re a lot better than they look.. he should be saying yeah they’re a young talented team that we should be beating.

Everyone ragging on Byfield but where is Danault and Moore.
Bro legit f*** Moore and Danault too. I only shit on Byfield because we need so much more from him than he gives us. Danault is a glorified plug and Moore is a soft bitch with a good shot. f*** them all. No one is worth keeping. I think Byfield is clearly going to top out as a fringe second liner which is a far cry of what he was supposed to be. You see Celebrini at 18 razzle dazzle with confidence while people were making excuses for Byfield cause he’s “young”.

Kings legit just need to trade everyone and fire the entire organization.

I’d only keep Clarke honestly. Everyone else has got to go.

Kings need a REAL rebuild. I love Kopitar and loved doughty back in the day but they’re legit a cancer to this organization since it’s them that ultimately cock blocked everyone. It’s the staffs fault but those guys didn’t mind staying either.

Fiala leads the team in penalties taken, second only to Jeannot in PIMs while contributing next to nothing 5x5, while having the teams worst +/- by a good margin.

I cannot recall a Kings player that has ever played worse than Kevin Fiala this season.

Oh I’m not blaming anyone on the ice. They all suck equally. I was just making a joke about Kuemper.

The paid fan podcasters are back to their old lame script.

“You know, if you take those two Sharks losses and turn them into wins, the Kings are right there behind Vegas!”

So f***ing stupid.
That was a criticism not a compliment.

The point was they SHOULD have had those extra 4 points.
