I think they'd like to keep him considering our depth at LHD is pretty weak without him. But Gavrikov certainly knows that and he might get a better offer in free agency than he would here. I think it also depends on how the rest of the season goes.

Like the Kings do things ass-backwards. They don't put guys in the right places. Kaliyev should play all 2 mins of PP time because that's what he excels at. If Kopitar plays on the PP than he shouldn't PK. If Danault PKs than he shouldn't play PP. Use the guys you have to your advantage in their best situations.

We don't know with this management. We hope they'll move him at the TDL (like they should have done with Roy) but best guess is they keep him and lose him for nothing in the offseason or massively overpay for him to come back.
