I just like to set the record straight, that TMac message had gone stale and Hiller is worse with his system handcuffing the rosters offense ability so much. A good GM would have brought in a coach that could tap more into the offensive capabilities this roster potentially has. Even though the Kings are my 2nd favorite team, it's very frustrating how they are not scoring goals from their top players consistently.

I still also have faith in Copley. His SV% wasn't ever great but he had the it factor winning games with this roster.

Copley has not looked good in Ontario.

Part of the reason Portillo was recalled, along with a light schedule.

He probably won't get a start unless Camper is not back for b2b's at end of the month.

I like Hiller but the last stretch has been rough.

You fired TMAC in season so naturally Hiller was a good choice.

He was tasked with stopping the tailspin and making the playoffs.

Only to lose to the West Champ, with some serious talent and the best PP in history.

Hiller earned a shot for one season and saved money while you are still funding the removed Koala cage.

With Ovi out it will be test time for PLD.

Disagree. Hiller is not getting the most out of his forward lines. As it turns out, the Oilers have fizzled. Their D and goaltending is below average. You can't have a high powered offense mask your teams deficiencies for so long.

True but its too soon and too many W's to fire him.

He needs to keep the blender off, it's not happy hour every game and it looks like he is settling down with the current lines.

We'll see. All I know is Kings coaching is not getting the best from QB, because he's getting handcuffed/worrying about making a defensive mistake too much.

I think QB is flipping the switch right now.

Sometimes the Kings demanding defensive competency from young players causes temporary problems but pays dividends in the end.

Example being Kempe, all around stud now developed elite offense.
