He was slathering all over Lee like this. Its like he has to glaze some of the AHL level guys as a ritual. That being said, Englund had a leg up last season because he was the only guy that would drop his gloves.. now with Edmundson and Jannot that is no longer important. Plus him and Spence are bros with lots of reps together.. Makes sense to me

If Hiller didn’t want to play Turcotte then dress Thomas.

Also, if Moverare is a better fit for a struggling Spence then play him.

Kings can move Englund who is a UFA and keep Burroughs as the 7th D since he has another year left on his deal and can play both sides.

Hiller in postgame said Turcotte was glued to the bench by plan.. he was only supposed to play half the game due to coming back from his injury. and wasnt told at the beginning of the game. Some weird shit if you ask me.
Bullsh*t excuse. He was benched for the rest of the game because of one turnover. Yeah, I get it give him a shift or two to think about it but for most of the game. He's been great all year.

As a coach that makes no f***ing sense, if you plan on playing hiim half the game due to easing him in, I get that, that's fine. You tell the player, you tell the team. Otherwise you have the player that's being benched on the bench going WTF, you have other players having to double shift throwing the lines out of whack, going WTF. You also extend it, play him 2 shifts, sit one, play him two shifts, sit one, still works out to half a game, and you have him engaged the entire time and everyone is on the same page.

Exactly...You should be transparent to the player and the team what the plan is... i dont see the benefit to anyone by keeping it secret... something seems off - the whole thing does not have the ring of truth to it.

Hiller doesn't seem to be a bad guy. He's pretty quick to fix his mistakes. Some of those mistakes though. 🤔

My biggest issue are the cute passes. Just stop. The team sucks at them & they won't be there in the playoffs.

(Looks around at PAC division D) Maybe the cute passes will be there in the playoffs. 😂

that's CRAZY

why the f*** is everyone in this org convinced they're the smartest in the room

When you build a culture of no accountability and no media pressure and still manage to earn one of the biggest revenue streams in the league, this is what you get.

I predicted in the offseason that we’ll miss the playoffs, and I still hold to that. What sucks is that even if we do miss, I don’t think anything will change.

No one in this organization seems to care about contending for a championship. Lieweke had issues but that guy really cared about winning, which is why he hired someone like Lombardi.

Guys like Beckerman, Robitaille, and Blake are the polar opposite.
