Avs have a pretty easy schedule to finish the year. After the 4 nations cup break in February, they only have 8 games (out of 25) vs teams who made the playoffs this year.

Playoff: NSH TOR DAL TOR LA VGK VAN LA
No Playoff: STL NJ MIN PIT SJ CHI MIN CGY OTT MTL DET STL CGY CHI CBJ STL ANA

And the back half of the 5 back-to-backs during that span are STL, MIN, OTT, CBJ, and ANA.

12 B2B games in the schedule for us. League average is 12.5 this year, so we're just below the line. But honestly given how well the Avs tend to do on the 2nd half of B2B matchups I'm not even that worried about it.

I am always surprised of that considering Bednar's system. It is so demanding physically that you would think they would do poorly in the 2nd game. Credit goes to the players.

We must have had one of the worst schedule reveals in the league.

"Let's drop an egg from high distances and see if it breaks."

You just know CNap and his band of nerds picked this f***ing science experiment.

Wait until next year and they recreate the Thanksgiving episode of WKRP in Cincinnati and reveal their draft picks by tossing turkeys out of helicopter.
