Who was the Sharks MVP this season? There's still 20 games so I suppose realistically the team MVP could change by the end of the season.

The candidates..

Macklin Celebrini
Definitely the most obvious choice. Leads the team in points with 50 and is 2nd in goals with 24 in 56 games and though the point lead is very small, he does have the clear best PPG on the team. Only knock on him is missed time and the worst +/- on the team


William Eklund
Has 49 points and 14 goals in 63 games. Despite averaging the 2nd most ice time among forwards, he's only a -4 when almost everyone on the club that has played a similar amount of games has a double digit negative +/- other than..


Jake Walman
32 points in 50 games, Leads the team in ice time and blocked shots (111) and is their number 1 defenseman.. somehow only a -1 when nearly everyone else with similar ice time or games played is in the double digits.


Tyler Toffoli
25 goals which leads the team, and 45 points in 65 games


Mikael Granlund
45 points (3rd in scoring) in 52 games and led all forwards in TOI while he was on SJ.

Celebrini is the best 1OA to build around since McDavid. I'm so impressed with this kid, probably the most impressed I have been with an 18yo since Crosby. The Sharks org has a bright future.

Would've been Granlund if he wasn't traded but Celebrini is the clear best player on the ice for the Sharks every game. Joke what you want about how bad they've been, he's been excellent.
