Moore along with Luneau could take the pressure off the Ducks when looking to move on from Gudas and/or Trouba. Good to see Solberg seamlessly transitioning to NA hockey, wonder how the left side of the defence will shake out in a couple of years.

I would really like for Verbeek to prioritize building the Gulls into a contender. Solberg, Moore, Luneau on D should be a solid base. The forwards will need some work as I expect Colangelo and Nesterenko to be with the Ducks full time.

The only two forward prospects who can come over to the AHL next year are Terrance (2023 draft) and Blais (2024 draft). Pasta will be back and Sidorov will be in his second season in the AHL. Hopefully, Caulfield could be re-signed and keeps the Gaucher-Caulfield duo a thing going into next season. The big part is retaining talented, older players like Bailey and Carpenter as well as acquiring AHL lifer who score.

a big question is in goal. Lots of unknowns, especially if we bring Clara over b/c that means all we have are youths in the AHL: Suchanek, Clara, Clang, and Buteyets. Suchanek is returning from a season off due to surgery.
