2024-25 San Diego Gulls/Tulsa Oilers

San Diego had the 17th ranked pp and 30th ranked pk in the league. Goaltending could be skewing the pk numbers pretty heavily.

Also, their ability to have an average pp despite missing so many of their top players for huge chunks of the season is both impressive and more egg on the face of the NHL guys.

It would also have the potential to make me look an even bigger dumb dumb in a couple of years time

Depending on work where I'm fluctuating between regular 40 hour weeks and 10+ hours of OT a week, I'll give it a crack when time allows. At the very least I'll try and give some more thoughts on some of the prospects who I'd imagine would draw more interest here (Pasta, Luneau, Hinds, Gaucher, Sidorov).

Likes of Solberg and Moore are too small a sample size for me to write too much more then I have already and I won't bother with the likes of Wiebe, Lopina etc who either have no NHL future or won't be with the organisation next season.
As a Judd fan, I’d like him toooooo please

Sparre was brought into the org three years ago and was supposed to be reunited with McIlvane, but there was some contract dispute and McIlvane had to wait a year to come over. That was why we signed old coach Sommer late in the summer. They also brought in another rookie assistant coach to the AHL ranks, Clarke was his name iirc. I was not impressed with Sparre and Clarke as assistant coaches. I think Clarke lasted two seasons.

Not impressed with our youth development much. Zell was an A student in a bad class. Same with Colangelo. Pastujov had to do soul searching on his own in the ECHL. The only youth who did take off was Luneau in the second half of the season with his offense. Helleson didn't look good in the AHL, but very competent at the NHL level. One prospect developed better in three years of development isn't great.
