I feel like if our team is going to be good our best players have to be the youth.
I feel like IF the team is going to be good, they gotta do it through the youth. Strome as a third liner is fine but I'd like to see McTavish, Zegras, Leo and Cutter all play a decent bit more than the Strome, Vatrano and Killorns of the team. I think it’s time to put more pressure on the youth to carry the team and not view everyone as equal because it truly is their team.
Yeah. The parts I don’t hate are offset by the parts I do hate.Well, that’s certainly a change.

Zegras on the point period is a choice. No Zellweger compounds it.I don’t think the issue is the personnel it’s the execution and coaching. They will put Leo in the front of the net, eliminating his playmaking and shooting ability.
Poor Z.
Faceoffs too. When you are the last team in faceoffs you are consistently starting out without possession. Which as a team who wants to play a possession style...not pretty. Then factor in faceoffs on the PP/PK. Yikes.I think the PP is the number one reason there is so much inconsistency with offense and lack of it. The kids have had to do it mostly at ES.
You put up an average PP, based on the opportunities they got. Would have potted at least another 15 goals. That’s 45 potential points spread among the forwards and D who are on the PP.
Again, that is average like 18-20% conversion rate. Middle of the league in rank.
Has anyone had a hat trick this year? If so, who and when?
I thought maybe I was blanking on this, but you are indeed correct that it’s no one. Last hatty the team had was Vatrano in the finale in Vegas last season. What a depressing stat
Add it to the list
Cronin's strategies: if it's broke, why fix it? "If a broken clock is right twice a day, a broken line will eventually look good and I'll look like a genius!"It only took 80 games for Terry to get away from those 2. Awesome. lol
