He was great last year, but he's been pretty bad this season. Since he is our captain now, I would be very surprised if he's traded this season. Next year would be more likely since it's the last year of his deal.

Agreed it seems really unlikely. Although acquiring Trouba and the re-emergence of Terry might make it slightly more likely?

I would also say that he's been significantly better the last 2-3 weeks. Not that he's necessarily a net positive player, but he's more what you'd expect him to be, as opposed to regularly making catastrophic mistakes like earlier in the season.

Hey everyone, Dallas fan coming in peace . I was wondering what your guys opinion on the future of Radko Gudas is for the Ducks.

Any chance he's available this deadline? And what would you want for him? How is he playing this year?

I would echo what a lot have said. Probably available next year but I doubt they trade their new captain season 1. Dumoulin, however, is definitely available.

I think Gudas got away from his gsme a bit when he got the C. He probably felt he had to tone down the edge he played on to take less penaltys, be more responsible etc. But those are the things that make him the player he is and we love to have on our team.
