3 goals combined between Gauthier, Vatrano, McTavish, Fabbri, and Zegras through 10 games, and 2 of those were empty netters.

Our D has provided almost nothing. Mintyukov had 2 in 1 game and hasn’t scored since. Zellweger definitely tries to help out offensively, but the numbers haven’t come yet.

The lack of offense is really something. Frustration has to be setting in for some of these guys.
Yeah, we don't have a single forward in the top 80 of qualified forwards in scoring, and have no defenseman in the top 120 in scoring of qualified dmen.

That is almost an unheard of "accomplishment". I guess it can't really get any worse? Hopefully?

Yah here in lies the problem. Nobody is meeting expectations. Nobody.

I would argue that Terry, Dostal, Strome, McGinn, and Doumolin are meeting expectations.

I would add Minty and Lundestrom are there too.

IMO the issue is that the key vets who are meant to insulate and guide the young players are all support players. The young players need vets who can settle a game down with their play. Killorn, Vatrano, Fabbri, Fowler, and Gudas are all good hockey players in the right situation. But they are either past their prime or not that type of player. The Ducks need to swap at least two of them with higher end vets to help support the younger players.

I really think we need another high end forward. 3x23 year old and under D men also doesn't help. You know(not actually dorected at you, just me being snarky), the players VP said he wanted to get.
