I liked Jojo's assessment over heading down your path.![]()
I don't see an option for c in free agency unless Tavares is willing to leave Toronto. Giroux maybe? Lyons return might make deadhead happy he was a supporter. But I don't think even he sees him as any kind of solution. Upgrades are possible with cap space available but I'm of the opinion if you don't see a long term asset then keep the money for right now. The only guy I'd target and pay full price for is ekblad who we could partner with sanheim until they both retire
That's reach for McQueen thinkingAre there any NHL ready players in this draft?
I'm guessing Misa would be? Schaefer?
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.how did TK get the team mvp lol
lol what an absolute bust of a trade/resigning..COC says:
Briere says Ristolainen had to have surgery on his arm. It's possible he'll miss the beginning of next season. Similar issue to the one that ended his year last season. They identified the problem right after the trade deadline.

While I’d support one more year of tanking, Briere’s “rock bottom” comment tells me the Flyers will take noticeable steps to improve.
If I squint….
A improved young core combined with: (McTavish + 1A/1B goalie) - (Torts + Rocky T.) = playoffs in ‘26 and is worth the risk of offer sheeting McTavish. Now the Flyers would really need to hit on this year’s draft to fuel a sustained run as a contender some day. They can weaponize cap space in ‘27.
Also, would the Ducks retain 50% on Gibson in return for keeping this year’s second?
Just a pipe dream, but it’s that time of year…..
I saw a post yesterday saying the top 3 RFA targets for the Flyers should be Bouchard, Rossi, and MacTavish.
Can't find it now, but the author was saying they should offer $11.4M for Bouchard, which would mean giving up two 1sts, one 2nd and one 3rd (just below the cutoff requiring four 1sts).
I have zero experience watching him. How much of his production is directly related to McDavid, Draisaitl?
If you're only gonna target one RFA, does Bouchard make sense?
I don't trust the RFA process, Flyers have gotten burned in the past, and it tends to piss off teams and make them frosty to you. Also, Danny doesn't seem like the personality type to do that, so I'm skeptical.
Going by the people of twitter...things look brightI think that's a painful payment for a team that still has so very many needs. I can be warm to the idea if we had everything in place, but we've got almost nothing. Trading off all the stuff we'd be using to get those pieces to get one of them who'd be at or over 30 by the time we have everything else? Seems like a wrong move. And I am a Bouchard fan
