I’ve said myself that Bump is a solid C-tier prospect. There are NHL tools, unlike a few of their other college performers. But I’ve seen guys like Allison and Laczynski underperform too.
It's not the players fault, or even the Flyers fault, but the amount of time and energy I wasted following their careers is a bit depressing.

Most non-first round picks don't hit, but those two really stand out for some reason.

Because that was when the Flyers had a top prospect pool and people got excited. At least Laczynski is a point/game AHL tweener. They both had a lot of injuries. Maybe without injuries and the right shot, Laczynski could’ve carved out something. Allison at this point is just on fumes.

Laberge, Allison, and Hart ended up being a helluva 2nd round for various reasons.

Allison and Lacyzinski both had NHL skillsets/attributes, it really was the constant injuries that got them. Every time they were about to be called up, they got hurt in the AHL.

But also every damned near every time they were healthy, they were kept in the AHL. I'd rather theyd have been hurt playing NHL hockey and providing at least SOME utility but alas. Roles and earning it and such.

I really think they're missing a chromosome.

Did Morin ever get injured in the NHL? I know for sure the 2nd time he blew out his knee was right after he was sent down (for some dumb reason).

I want to say he did take an injury in the NHL. I don't know for sure.

Either way, it has always driven me up a wall to see guys who should have been getting NHL experience eating injuries in a minor league.

Yes, maybe they were always gonna physically flame out either way. But why would you not want to see what results your scouting and development produce at the NHL level? They act like they don't want to know
