I want to show John a diagram of a hockey rink, label ozone and dzone and ask "where are opponents more likely to score? Are they more likely to score when they are in their ozone or when they are in their dzone? Do they score more when they are shooting at our goalie, or when we are shooting on theirs? Do they score more when the puck is closer to Ersson, or when the puck is further away from Ersson?"
I bet he still wouldn't get it.

It's not crazy to think that Torts' main priority for the rest of the season is to keep the gap between Cates' and Michkov's point totals as small as possible.

They have no interest in Miller, what planet does Kurz live on? Not a single rumor out there.
Briere has made it clear they're still building for the future and have no interest in rentals.
So why would they trade serious assets to add 31 year old Miller with 3yr/$8M left after this season?
Now if I'm a PO team that needs to upgrade my top six, I'd be all over him.
This is the kind of move the Flyers make in 2-3 years, not now.
